Sueann Cho Fortener
Sueann Fortener is the COO of AdoptTogether, the world’s first and largest crowdfunding platform for adoption.
Before creating AdoptTogether with her husband and founder, Hank Fortener, Sueann started at TBWA Chiat Day, and worked for many years as an educator for students with learning disabilities. She then went on to work at Mosaic, developing leadership teams and helping the faith community thrive as a vibrant and creative church in Los Angeles.
Currently, Sueann manages the daily operations and staff at AdoptTogether and is Mama to two amazing girls- Cora, 3, and Charlotte, 1, in Los Angeles, CA.
Alice has had a successful career acting and modeling in New York since 2008. She is most known for her four season recurring role on the CW’s hit showGossip Girl and is currently in her second season as a recurring cast member on Bravo’s hit show Odd Mom Out. She became passionate about orphan justice in her youth but didn’t become an advocate until partnering alongside the Kenyan-based organization Many Hopes in 2011. She and her husband have traveled to Kenya many times to visit the girls in the Many Hopes program which seeks to rescue, house, and educate former street children and they help host fundraising efforts in NYC and LA. Alice and her husband are proud adoptive parents of a sweet boy from Jersey! She is passionate for #PlanA, which encourages families to make adoption their first choice in family planning.
Heather Avis is wife to her handsome and hardworking man Josh, and mother to the adorable Macyn, Truly and August. After working as an Education Specialist she found herself as a full-time stay at home mom when she and her husband adopted their first daughter, Macyn, in 2008. Shortly thereafter, in 2011, they adopted their second daughter, Truly. And in 2013, their son August was born and came home to be theirs. Heather is writing her first book and using her hit Instagram account @macymakesmyday, to share the awesomeness of all things Down syndrome and adoption. Ranada C. Shephard has a lifelong passion for both family and entertainment. Growing up as the youngest of four children in Chicago, she was taught early on about the value of education, tradition and love that binds people together. Ranada was also shown the value of following her dreams, which lead her to come out west for college and pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Since then, Ranada has successfully worked as a Development Executive, Producer and Writer of both children’s books and several television pilots. She is also the creator and Executive Producer of TVOne’s original series, Born Again Virgin, a single-camera comedy series….all while raising a family.
Ranada currently lives in the San Fernando Valley with her husband, Devon, and their three sons.

Jessica is passionate about empowering entrepreneurs. She has inspired over 1,000 women across the United States to launch their own businesses as Noonday Collection Ambassadors. Noonday Collection partners 28 artisan businesses in 12 countries, empowering artisan entrepreneurs to create dignified jobs for thousands of people in their communities. Mandy Arioto is president and CEO of MOPS International, a global non-profit connecting and empowering hundreds of thousands of women through the common bond of motherhood. An advocate for women around the world, Mandy has been featured in national and international television and print, and is the author of Starry Eyed: Seeing Grace in the Unfolding Constellation of Life and Motherhood. She and her husband Joe live in Denver CO, and are in the throes of raising their three kids to be tender-hearted world citizens.
Hillary Froning is the wife to the four time CrossFit games champion, Rich Froning. He has a book titled First and a documentary film about their life together, CrossFit, their faith and their story of adoption. After years of infertility, they were blessed with the adoption of a beautiful baby girl, Lakelyn Ann. Hillary loves answering adoption questions and sharing how God used adoption to change their family. Her prayer is to touch people’s hearts, educate people on adoption, and encourage others to learn to live in a faith that’s bigger than fear. She and her sister own a clothing boutique called 31twentyFive. Hillary and Rich live in Cookeville, Tennessee and own CrossFit Mayhem together. They spend most weekends traveling with Lakelyn and enjoying all of Gods blessings.
